Save the Date

The 9th Annual Charity Ball will be held on Saturday, October 13th at the Hyatt Deerfield. We are planning something special in honor of Max Randell's 10th Birthday (October 9th.)

Maxie Steals the Show at the 5th Annual Canavan Charity Ball

On October 25th, 2003 Canavan Research Illinois hosted the 5th Annual Charity Ball at the Hyatt in Deerfield, IL.

As always, this event was a crowd pleaser with dancing and tables filled with spectacular auction items. Maxie thrilled the crowd this year as he danced in his power wheelchair to the music. He even pulled little Celeste Stern in her chair across the floor for a dance!

We had a fabulous turnout and presented our "Scientist of the Year"award to Dr. Paola Leone for her strength, brilliance, and devotion to our children.

We will continue to aggressively raise funds to win our fight against Canavan disease.
